About us
We believe that no one in our community should face hunger.
That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people in Mill End, Rickmansworth.
We are part of a nationwide community of food banks, supported by Trussell, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Our food bank is a project founded by local churches and community groups. It comes under the Mill End Community Trust and is run by them.
The Mill End Community Trust has been working in Mill End, Rickmansworth, to support and help local residents who just need that little bit of support, via our Café and Foodbank or the Citizens Advice Bureau adviser, Watford Credit Union and CAP money courses. We also offer a sense of community with community gardening, Knit and Natter and Photography Clubs. The Community Trust is run exclusively by volunteers who donate their time and skills to provide the services and clubs that ensure people don't have to go without.
