70% Increase in Food Provided

The Rickmansworth Foodbank has seen a 70% increase in the demand for food this year. In the six months from April to September 2022, we provided food for 1,100. This number is just 200 below the yearly number pre-pandemic.  With the cost of living continuing to increase over the winter, we have reminded schools that they can refer any family they have concerns about regarding their ability to provide sufficient food for the family. To date, 3 schools have requested vouchers.
