About

“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”

The Mill End Community Trust has been working in Mill End, Rickmansworth, to support and help local residents who just need that little bit of support, via our Cafe and Foodbank or the Citizens Advice Bureau adviser, Watford Credit Union and CAP money courses. We also offer a sense of community with community gardening, Knit and Natter and Photography Clubs . The Community Trust is run exclusively by volunteers who donate their time and skills to provide the services and clubs that ensure people don't have to go without.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
