Fuel Poverty on the Increase

Mill End Community Trust (MECT) has seen a marked increase in the number of families requesting assistance with the cost of key meters, smart meters, and direct payment of fuel bills. The increase of people experiencing fuel poverty and incurring debt is expected to continue during the winter period, therefore we continue to try to help people understand the various options they have and share tips on how to save on fuel and other costs.
