About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Our foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area. It comes under the Mill End Community Trust and is run by them.
The Rickmansworth Foodbank is open on:
- Tuesdays 14:00-16:00 at The Mill Cafe, Methodist Church, Berry Lane, Mill End, WD3 7HJ
- Fridays 10:00-12:00 at The Mill Cafe, Methodist Church, Berry Lane, Mill End, WD3 7HJ
- Mondays 13:00-15:00 at Croxley Green Baptist Church, 225 Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green, WD3 3LH
At The Mill Cafe (Methodist Church, Berry Lane, Mill End, WD3 7HJ), you can access an array of helpful services and activities:
- Healthy Hub – Led by Charlie, Outreach services from MIND (Tues 12.30-2pm & Fri 11.30am-2pm) – If you are struggling with anxiety or mental health issues, pop in for a chat with Charlie
- Re-usable period products – Led by Charlie (times as above).
- Mentoring – Available on 1:1
- Citizens Advice Bureau adviser – Drop in service available (Tues 2-4 pm)
- Low cost lunch – Open to anyone in our community (Tues & Fri at 12.00pm)
- Group Singing – Led by Sheralyn (1st Tuesday of the month, 11-12pm). Everybody welcome!
